Chick-Fil-A and the New World Order

For Bible believing Christians, the Chick-Fil-A controversy is a sign of things to come.

The media has been buzzing with news of fast food chain Chick-Fil-A and their President Dan Cathy’s statements to a Baptist newspaper regarding the restaurants Biblical principles and his belief in traditional marriage as defined by the Bible. As expected there was an immediate backlash from the media and gay activist groups who are accusing the restaurant chain of being anti-gay. But in the midst of the furor, the government has now gotten involved by threatening to keep Chick-Fil-A restaurants out of entire cities because of their President’s religious beliefs. This is a big step down the path towards the end of religious liberty, the start of control of individual thought and what may eventually be the criminalization of Biblical Christianity.

In an interview with Baptist Press news, Chick-Fil-A President Dan Cathy explained that the company, founded by his father, a born again Christian, was operated based on Biblical principles:

“But as an organization we can operate on biblical principles. So that is what we claim to be. [We are] based on biblical principles, asking God and pleading with God to give us wisdom on decisions we make about people and the programs and partnerships we have. And He has blessed us.”

When the company’s support of marriage programs were brought up, Cathy then commented on his Christian beliefs regarding marriage:

“I think we are inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at (God) and say, ‘We know better than You what constitutes a marriage.’ “I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think we would have the audacity to redefine what marriage is all about,” he said. Cathy’s views are based on the Biblical definition of marriage as between a man and a woman. Jesus Christ, quoting the book of Genesis preached:

And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. — Matthew 19:4-6

Notice in Cathy’s remarks he did not mention the term ‘gay marriage’ or say ‘homosexual’ or any similar term. He merely expressed the Bible’s definition of marriage. And yet this has sparked an outrage.

Government Officials Retaliate

Some of the headlines expressing the outrage over Cathy’s beliefs included: “Homophobic Chick-fil-A Deserves a Plague of Protest.” The Miami Times wrote: “Even Miami’s Chick-Fil-As Were Packed With Homophobes Today.” Such biased, anti-Christian comments are becoming the norm in much of the mainstream media today. But what really took this to another level was that government officials started announcing regional boycotts of the restaurant chain.

“Chick-fil-A’s values are not Chicago values. They’re not respectful of our residents, our neighbors and our family members. And if you’re gonna be part of the Chicago community, you should reflect Chicago values.” – Chicago Mayor and Former Chief of Staff to President Obama, Rahm Emanuel.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel started a stream of government opposition to religious liberty with the above statement. What is odd is that Emanuel was Chief of Staff for President Obama when he opposed gay marriage (before the President “evolved” and reversed his position) so was the President also unwelcome in his home city? This represents a dangerous precedent as the mayor was basically boycotting a business because of the Biblical beliefs of its President. Chick-Fil-A did not refuse to serve gay customers. They have never been accused of discrimination in hiring of gays. There is no actual legal issue regarding homosexuals and Chick-Fil-A. It is just a case of a public official using his power to punish a company because of religious values.
And in a case of the usual religious bias we have detailed in other articles, Mayor Emmanuel is now working Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, widely known for his anti-semitic views (and opposition to gay marriage) to work as a police force in Chicago. The Nation of Islam, often accused of racism against many groups, apparently represents “Chicago values” enough to be employed directly by the Mayor himself. But for Christians, Biblical principles are not welcome. In addition to its rank hypocrisy, Emanuel’s announcement was a step towards fascist control over the thoughts of citizens.

Although Emanuel later backed off an actual boycott, Chicago Alderman Proco Moreno wrote in the Chicago Tribune: “Because of [Mr. Cathy’s] ignorance, I will deny Chick-Fil-A a permit to open a restaurant in my ward.”

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino followed suit saying: “Chick-Fil-A doesn’t belong in Boston,”We’re an open city. We’re a city at the forefront of inclusion.”

New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn has also called on New York University to remove Chick Fil-A from its campus. “Chick-fil-A is not welcome in New York City as long as the company’s president continues to uphold and promote his discriminatory views,” (source)

Thought Crimes: A Threat to Liberty

George Orwell’s novel 1984 predicted much of where society is headed today.

“The thought police would get him just the same. He had committed–would have committed, even if he had never set pen to paper–the essential crime that contained all others in itself. Thoughtcrime, they called it. Thoughtcrime was not a thing that could be concealed forever. You might dodge successfully for a while, even for years, but sooner or later they were bound to get you.” – George Orwell, 1984, Book 1, Chapter 1

The U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom to exercise religion. Yet government officials now feel fit to use their position and bully pulpit to declare which business should be allowed into their cities based on religious belief. What those who are for gay marriage and are boycotting Chick-Fil-A do not realize is that their liberties are being taken at the same time.

The novel 1984, quoted above, was about a future New World Order society in which all of society is controlled by a small tyrannical elite called “The Party” who answered to a shadowy ruler named “Big Brother.” The elite control all of the news and information given to citizens, starting by completely revising history to suit their agenda. Propaganda is used to bring all of the masses into one line of thinking to ultimately control them and keep them submissive to the ruling class. Every citizen of one of the 3 nations left on the globe are completely tracked and observed via video cameras embedded in television screens in every home. All individual thought and ideas were outlawed as thought crimes. Was Orwell, who published the book in 1949, predicting a real version of the future? It seems that we are closer to thoughts and beliefs becoming criminalized with each passing day.

“The past was erased, the erasure was forgotten, the lie became truth.” [This line summarized how The Party manipulates history by changing all documents]. Could a similar type of manipulation be taking place today? Let’s examine history:

Here is President Obama, in 2008, during his campaign answering the question “define marriage”:

Compare the President’s statements to Cathy’s. Was there any difference? No. They expressed the same sentiment based on their Christian belief. Yet where was the outrage at then-candidate Obama? Why was he not being called a bigot and a homophobe? Why were there no massive protests from the LGBT and gay rights community? Could it be that since the media did not sound alarms to tell society what to think, there was no subsequent outrage? Compare that to the present incident in which the media vented full anger at Chick-Fil-A. Now society, instructed by the media, is completely up in arms.

When Jesus was asked by His disciples: ” Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?”, His first response was “Take heed that no man deceive you.” The end times will be marked by deception, specifically pointing to the government of a false Christ. And as expected when thoughts are controlled by the mass media, the majority of society will fight to defend what they have been told is “right”.

Some people resorted to criminal acts to retaliate against Chick-Fil-A’s “thoughtcrime.”

In the wake of the Chick-Fil-A controversy two different restaurants have been vandalized. In California, a man who was arrested for spray painting “taste like hate” on a Chick-Fil-A restaurant said:

“Everybody is entitled to free speech, but it seems like for the gay tribe, this is more of an issue of equal rights – human rights. I’m against what these people stand for, what this company stands for. They’re trying to take away what little rights we already have.” (source)

Notice that even though the man acknowledges that “everybody is entitled to free speech”, he still felt the need to commit a criminal act in revenge against Chick-Fil-A. And all Cathy did was express the exact same position the President stated during his 2008 campaign as “trying to take away” his rights. Davidson College in North Carolina has suspended the Chick-Fil-A location on its campus. Gay rights advocates held homosexual “kiss-ins” in front of restaurant locations. Numerous celebrities, many of whom openly campaigned for President Obama, have spoken out in anger against Chick-Fil-A. All because now the media has “proclaimed” that openly supporting traditional, Biblical marriage is “hatred” and “bigotry.” In 1984, a similar phenomenon is termed “blackwhite”:

“…loyal willingness to say black is white when party discipline demands this. It also means the ability to believe that black is white, and more, to know black is white, and forget that one has ever believed the contrary.” (Winston Smith in 1984).

Floyd Corkin’s anger over Chick-Fil-A led him to attempted murder.

And in the worst incident to date, Floyd Corkins was arrested for entering the Family Research Council offices in Washington D.C. with a 9mm pistol, rounds of ammunition and shot a security guard in anger over the organizations “policies.” Corkins as it was later reported, volunteered for LGBT groups and was carrying numerous Chik-Fil-A sandwiches. This is the power of thought control and how quickly people can be moved to irrational actions and even violence.

In the Bible, the Apostles faced immediate hostility from the local leadership when they proclaimed the name of Jesus Christ and pointed out sin in society:

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus..

But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it. But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name. And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. Acts 4:8-18.

The Pharisees, who held the political power in the community, conspired to try to stop the Apostles from preaching the name of Jesus. Why? Because in Peter’s preaching he convicted them of their sin, having earlier conspired to have the Romans execute Jesus unjustly. This is why society does not want to hear the Bible. They do not want to be reminded of their own sin and be threatened to lose their influence and control over their society. Biblical Christianity is the clear target. As society is becoming more indoctrinated and prepared for the true New World Order, which will be under the reign of the Antichrist, open hostility to Biblical Christianity is becoming the norm. But the New World Order is not going to stop there, it is going to demand full allegiance from all citizens and full thought control. The False Prophet, the religious leader who will be the “right hand man” to the Antichrist in the End Times, will spearhead the effort to bring the entire world into this New World Order control system:

And [the False Prophet] deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. – Revelation 13:14-15.

The Image of The Beast, some sort of Idol/Artificial Intelligence modeled after the Antichrist will be created and there will be mandatory worship for all citizens of the world under punishment of death. This is the ultimate road “thought crime” will go down. Clearly any praise to another god will not be tolerated. And with the Mark of the Beast used to track every person on the planet, enforcement will not be difficult. Do not be deceived.

High Profile Pastors Are Silent

Despite being on TV 5 days a week, megachurch “Pastor” Joyce Meyer was very silent on the Chick-Fil-A controversy.

With such a high profile controversy taking place, where are the big mega-church TV Christian pastors on this issue? Where are Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyers, Paula White, Steve Furtick or Benny Hinn? Why is T.D. Jakes not commenting on this? They all seem strangely silent. And in the case of mega-pastor Rick Warren (who as we have detailed, teaches many heresies), his one tweet in quasi-support of Chick-Fil-A was deleted shortly after it was posted. Did “The Party” get to him? Christians should be asking, why does a fast food company President have to take this stance when these pastors have a weekly audience of millions every week to stand for Biblical principles?

Emboldened by President Obama’s announcement that he “evolved” into supporting gay marriage, society is increasing in its intolerance of Christianity, all on the basis that they are being” inclusive.” Does it seem like it will be long before anyone who believes the Biblical position against marriage will be deemed “unwanted” in certain areas? Fortunately, many Christians are not too concerned about that yet as they turned out in huge numbers for “Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day” which was organized by former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee. Chick-Fil-A restaurants all over the country had lines that went out of the building and for blocks. Will Christians continue to stand for Biblical truths as society lashes out? Will you be able to endure the taunts, hatred and possible discrimination for believing the Bible? With God’s grace and strength you can.

Many Christians came out in large numbers to support Chick-Fil-A across the country.

Continue in prayer for this company and its leaders in what is an unprecedented attack on an American business. And pray for Christians to not attack gays or the homosexual movement, but instead just share our faith and the Gospel, which is still our right. If you are not a Christian and support gay marriage realize that what is going on is bigger than one restaurant chain. It is a pretext to challenge your basic rights. And it is a set up for the true “Party” which will be headed by the Antichrist. Today the thoughtcrime could be speaking out in support of traditional marriage. Tomorrow it could be daring to say that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. And eventually it could be your required worship of the head of government or your life.

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in [Jesus’] name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. — Acts 5:27-29.
