Is this show really alluding to “The Beast” of Revelation?
This fall, the CW network, which is known for a host of shows that promote the occult, is debuting “Beauty and The Beast” a drama about a New York police officer who is being followed by a mysterious stranger that with supernatural powers. In this show, which appears to be a simple supernatural TV show on its face, there are many elements that line up directly with the Biblical account of the Nephilim giants, their punishment and the coming Antichrist.
The Plot
According to the show’s website:
“Catherine “Cat” Chandler is a smart, no-nonsense homicide detective, who is haunted by her own tragic past. When she was a teenager, Cat witnessed the murder of her mother at the hands of two gunmen. Cat would have been killed too, but someone – or something – saved her. No one has ever believed her, but she knows it wasn’t an animal that attacked the assassins…though it was strange and terrifying, it was human.

While investigating a new case Cat and Tess discover fingerprints that lead to a handsome doctor named Vincent Keller, who was reportedly killed by enemy fire while serving in Afghanistan in 2002. Digging deeper, Cat learns that Vincent is actually still alive. For mysterious reasons that have forced him to live outside of traditional society, Vincent has been in hiding for the past 10 years. With the help of his childhood friend J.T. Forbes, Vincent has been able to guard his terrible secret – when he is enraged, he becomes a terrifying beast, unable to control his super-strength and heightened senses. Cat is stunned when Vincent admits he was the “animal” who saved her the night of her mother’s murder. Vincent doesn’t admit the whole truth – he is emotionally tied to Cat and has been watching over her for years.” (source)

In the pilot episode Cat discovers that Vincent was subject to medical experiments in the military that altered his DNA to make him into a super-soldier. In a process the show calls “cross-species genetics” Vincent’s DNA was spliced and modified to add the DNA strands of animals, giving him super human abilities. In short, Vincent is a hybrid creature. Beginning and End has covered the hybrid phenomenon in the Bible extensively. In Genesis Chapter 6, a group of rebellious angels revealed themselves to humanity and took human women as their wives and had children with them. These offspring, human-fallen angelic hybrids, known as the Nephilim, were giants with superhuman strength and abilities:
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. – Genesis 6:1-4.
In our article Bloodlines of the Nephilim – A Biblical Analysis, Beginning and End detailed that even after the flood of Noah’s day, which destroyed the original Nephilim (while their evil angelic fathers were imprisoned in the abyss) that the Nephilim DNA was carried through members of Noah’s family, and once again Nephilim hybrids appeared and started to dominate the Earth. Being such as Golitath, the champion of the Philistines who was defeated by a young King David, was a descendant of the Nephilim and a giant himself.
And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass. And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders. And the staff of his spear was like a weaver’s beam; and his spear’s head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him. – 1 Samuel 17:4-7.
An analysis of Vincent’s hair revealed “cross-species genetics” in his DNA.
According to John Gill’s Bible Exposition, the total weight of Goliath’s armor and weapons was over 200 lbs. His height was anywhere from 9-11 feet tall (the length of a cubit in ancient times normally ranged from 18-21 inches). He was so intimidating that not one soldier or man in the entire nation of Israel would step up to fight him. He was, in short, a super soldier, just like Vincent on the Beauty and the Beast show. But Goliath was also a blasphemer and enemy of God. This is the running theme throughout Scripture: the Nephilim hybrids were evil, satanic and sought to destroy God’s people.
Yet in the CW show, rather than being evil, Vincent is caring and compassionate, to the point that Cat is clearly going to fall in love with him. The theme of the god-like creature and the human woman coming together for illicit sexual relations (and presumably, having a hybrid offspring) is clearly going to be an ongoing storyline for the show.
Foreshadows of the Antichrist
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. – Revelation 13:4-7.
Revelation 13 details the reign of the Antichrist, the satanically-empowered False Messiah who will rule the world in the final years leading up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the true Messiah. The Antichrist is called many names in the Bible: the man of sin, the son of perdition, the Wicked and in Revelation he is known as “the Beast.” This should be the first clear similarity between the Antichrist and the character of Vincent who the show calls “the Beast.” And just like the Beast of Revelation, Vincent is portrayed as heroic, kind and loveable. He is someone that the viewers are intended to support and root for.
The Bible says the amazing supernatural powers of the Antichrist will be a key part of his deception:
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. – 2 Thessalonians 2:7-10.
Through miracles and amazing supernatural feats, the Beast of the Bible will be able to deceive those who do not know God and do not believe in Jesus Christ. They will wrongly believe that the Antichrist is the Savior. And on Beauty and The Beast, Vincent is clearly the “Savior” of Cat and has watched over and protected her for years with her not even knowing.
In the show, Vincent, The Beast, is declared dead, but it turns out that he is “back.”
On the show Vincent was also declared dead at the time that his medical handlers wanted to end the experiment. When Cat is investigating a case and discover his fingerprints on the clothing of the victim, she too looks up Vincent’s records and concludes that he is dead. But soon she finds out that he is alive and faked his death and is ‘back from the dead.’ In the Book of Revelation we are told the the Antichrist will also appear to have died at some point but will come back from the dead: “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” (Revelation 13:3).
We are also told in this chapter about the False Prophet, the religious leader who works to promote the Antichrist. In his account, we again see confirmation of the Beast’s miraculous return from death:
And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. – Revelation 13:12-14.
It is this return from death, along with his supernatural powers that will cause the world to not only make the Beast of Revelation their political leader, but to worship him as a god. Interestingly, the Antichrist is “killed” by a wound to his head. On Beauty and The Beast, Vincent has a scar from a massive wound to his head. According to the show’s wiki, the origin of this scar is unknown.

Becoming God – The Illuminati Agenda
The desire to become god-like or achieve immortality has been the basis of the Illuminati agenda for centuries. If the plot of the show seems far-fetched, consider that in 2011 a group of laboratories in the United Kingdom were forced to admit that they had already created 155 human-animal hybrids.
Adolf Hitler’s third reich was also obsessed with creating a “super soldier” and an entirely new race of god-men. These ideas are fueled by sinful rebellion against the Lord. It was Satan’s original offer than mankind can achieve immortality and godhood without following or listening to God Himself:
Now the serpent was more [subtle] than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. – Genesis 3:1-5.
It is because of sin that humanity was separated from God and doomed to suffer God’s wrath in Hell and it all started right there in the Garden of Eden at that moment. And thousands of years later, Satan makes the same offer in various forms to seduce society into his way of sinful rebellion and pleasing of the self. Do not be deceived.
God, when creating the creatures of the Earth He had a very specific design in mind:
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. — Genesis 1:24-27.
The animals of the Earth were each made “after their own kind.” In other words, cows birthed cows. Lizards birthed lizards. There was no evolutionary process and no mixing of animal species. Additionally, humanity was created in God’s image. Human DNA was precious because it was through the “seed of a woman” that the prophesied Messiah would come to Earth. And that took place 2,000 years ago with the birth of Jesus Christ. The Nephilim hybrids were an attempt to corrupt and destroy the Messianic bloodline by infusing all of humaniy with Nephilim genes to prevent a human Savior from being born. But by God’s grace and mercy, the Messianic bloodline was preserved as human and in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, all people now have a chance for forgiveness of sins.
King Nebuchadnezzar – Animal Human Hybrid In the Bible
Just as described in Scripture, on the Beauty and the Beast show it all comes back to changing DNA.
There is an account in the Bible of a man who truly became part animal and that was King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. At the height of His Kingdom, Nebuchadnezzar had conquered the known world. The Lord was trying to reach him through the prophet Daniel (who lived in the King’s court) but Nebuchadnezzar had still not humbled himself before God, giving himself all the credit for the wealth and power he had amassed. As part of his punishment, God did something we only see once in the Bible:
Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him. This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the holy gods is in thee.

All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws. — Daniel 4:16-33.
This King, whose career foreshadowed many of the prophesied actions of the future Antichrist, was turned into an animal for seven years as his punishment. The merging of beast and human is something that is reserved for the evil. Nebuchadnezzar saw the power and wealth of his kingdom and gave himself all the credit. He made himself god. And as a result he was made even lower than a human. Pride that is so intense that it leads you to replace the true God of the Bible with your own self, or your ideas or sense of self-worth is the produce of a sinful delusion. And humanity today is headed down that same road as it seeks to try and solve every problem on Earth through scientific achievement or occult methods while rejecting and ignoring God altogether.
As the world moves closer to the end times, it is clear that a spiritual war is taking place. And the minds and souls of humanity are the prize. Jesus is spreading His Gospel through Bible-believing, born again Christians, churches and ministries. But the Devil is also spreading his false gospel to lure people into damnation. Entertainment has been a major tool for the promotion of sinful rebellion and now even more esoteric and prophetic ideas such as Nephilim hybrids, allusions to the Beast of Revelation and love between humans and other creatures are being promoted heavily. These are all seeds that will implant ideas to bring people farther from God and His truth of the Bible. Do not be deceived. Look for safety, comfort and salvation in Jesus Christ, the True Messiah, and not the Beast.
Wow what a parallel. Goodness I guess people who know nothing about the Bible will see this as some updated version of “the hulk” or Disney ‘s. “beauty & the beast”. This is so sad what TV programs have become. Everything has become riddled with evil plots & plans. Thanx B&E…..
This is a remake of sorts from the 1980’s series of the same name.Questionfor you, what puzzles me is the nephilim were wiped out in the flood, God saved Noah and his family, so no.such species can exist, so how come the DNA was still allowed Through his son’s wives to be saved? Thanks for your question. I will try to explain this a different way. Human volition will always play a role in world affairs. Jesus Christ died for all of humanity but only those who choose to believe go to Heaven. God provides a way, but we still have to choose it.
Imagine if you lived in Smithtown and Metropolis, the city next door, was dealing with an epidemic. A disease plagued that city that could kill a person in 48 hours. And it spread through germs and is highly contagious. Your town is called to evacuate immediately and avoid and all contact with anyone from Metropolis less you be infected. Would you warn your family about this? If you had kids who were still at school, would you tell them to come home immediately and tell them sternly not to have any interaction with anyone or anything from Metropolis? This is the situation Noah and his family were in. The pre-flood world was a very bizarre land. There were giants dominating the planet, angels openly revealing themselves and interacting with people and who knows what kind of supernatural occurrences taking place. The Nephilim were killing and even eating people. And on top of all of this, God had pronounced he was going to destroy the entire unbelieving world with a flood at a time when it had never rained before.
And in the midst of this you had Noah who knew and believed in the True and Living God and was 100% human. Don’t you think he drove it home to his family that they should have no part with anyone who was not of God and certainly not to interact with descendants of giants? I believe so since the Bible calls him a “preacher of righteousness.” His sons knew the situation and certainly should have picked their wives carefully. Ham, who had no respect for Noah, did not. And thus his sin, allowed the gene to make it through the flood. God did His part: all the Nephilim giants were killed and their angelic fathers were punished and imprisoned to never do this again. But Ham left the door a crack open through his sinful rebellion against God.
This has happened many times in Scripture. As we will see in Part 2 of this series, Joshua is told to wipe out all of the nations that harbor Nephilim giants but he does not. This of course leads to the rise of the Phillistines who became heated enemies of Israel for centuries. At every turn if humans are not fully obedient to The Lord, calamity will eventually ensue. We are all responsible for our own actions. Going back to the disease example, if you are in your car heading out of town and see one of your kids wearing a jacket you did not buy and say “where did you get that?” If he responds “a kid from Metropolis. He got sick and left it behind before he went to the hospital so I took it”, are you at fault? No. You warned your child. You told him the severity of the situation and you provided a way for him to escape all harm. but because of his decision to sin, now you all suffer. This is what Ham did.
Another thing that the next article will cover is Abraham and his quest to find a wife for Isaac. Look in Scripture at how seriously Abraham takes this and insists that Isaac’s wife only come from one specific place on Earth and not from the Canaanites under any circumstance. Thanks for answering my question. However can you explain why Noah was warning those around him what God was doing. The way I understood it, people still had that chance to change, even if they wouldn’t listen. God is merciful like that. Also if Ham was sinful and took onboard a nephilim tainted human, surely God would of struck the sinful pair down before entering the ark. He is not going to be saving someone just because they are related to his righteous servant. He did spare Moses Sister for her sinful part neither Moses himself they missed out on the promised land. The only other reason I can think of is he allowed it to teach Ham and his wife the severity of disobeying him, by letting them see the fruit of their actions. I am pretty sceptical about angel / human hybrid as I always felt that angels did not have reproductive abilities. They were not created that way. I believe that demons can alter a humans physical appearance….
Thank you Helen, and our moderator for bringing up, and providing some answers to my own questions. One idea, if the LORD allowed any non-human DNA onto the ark, it will work to His glory. When I first was called by Christ in 2008, one of my first questions was why God allows pain and evil, especially where kids are concerned? He really helped me by showing me that it is sin like mine that is source material for evil, and He alone is pure from eternity past. Next, evil helps a simple mind like mind to understand what He is NOT. Plus evil has an end, so will not prevail. That is not directly responding to your question Helen, but since reading this thread, now I wonder if there is a son of Satan of some sort?

You make some very good points. The Giants indeed were a tool of God’s judgment in many instances after the flood. They also provided a worship system that the Israelites were often seduced into in sinful rebellion. So they served a purpose for God to work out His will in His own way. But as I mentioned in the Bloodlines article, we cannot forget that human volition always plays a role in salvation. We have to trust and believe God and then we are saved by Him. If we leave doors open to sin, sin will creep in. Joshua was supposed to wipe out all of the Canaanites and Nephilim giants and didn’t, and for centuries they were “thorns” in the sides of the Israelites. We see this pattern time and time again. If humans are going to make errors when it comes to following God, we are going to reap what we sow. Hence the Nephilim DNA still making it through the flood.
And Satan will have a “seed” as prophesied in Genesis 3. And that seed is the Antichrist.
Bearing in mind that because of sin and it’s effects on mankind it is possible for genetic disorders to be around, hense the giants after the flood. The bible isn’t clear how the giants returned, so.their return is only guesswork. Another theory is, that man invoked again demons to mate with, just because the original were thrown in prison, doesn’t mean there weren’t others willing to do the same. What puzzles me is why God would enable any angelic being the ability to procreate. Can the devil really have the power to generate a human egg through his power or through sex? Has he got that power?
That is so puzzling. It’s gross also. One preacher had a nicer take on the issue, suggesting the preflood giants were offspring of Cain. I found that more acceptable, but hold doubt to the veracity.

I would only add that when we see giants identified, like in Numbers 13, we are told that they are “which come of the giants: “. So it’s not a guess to say that their parentage are other Nephilim giants and Scripture reveals the actual lineage of many of them.
As for mating with demons, it does not seem that angels and demons are the same type of beings. Demons do not have bodies and thus mating would not be an option. As for other angels sinning, the punishment of imprisonment in the abyss was enough of a deterrent to prevent that happening again (this will defintiely be explained more in future installments – I have already researched the punishment in detail).
And the Devil will certainly have a seed. How do we know this? From Genesis 3:

You say angels and demons are different, true but the only.difference is demons are evil angels! Both have no.physical form, yet you ( the bible as well ) say they (demons) mated with.human women, and in your reply recently you say mating is not an option..! Make your mind up! I can accept demons mated with.human women ok, it says in Scripture, but find it mind boggling that after the culprits for the nephilim were punished, God destroyed mankind, except Noah and his family only to apparently contradict things by allowing nephilim to “sneak” back via his son’s wives. That’s the bit I’m trying to.understand but your confusing me with vague explanations.
1. Angels and demons –
Angels in the Bible have bodies. They eat (Genesis 18 when the Angels eat with Abraham or when the angels ate dinner at Lot’s house). They can hit, attack and kill people (2 Kings 19 – when one angel killed all of Sennacherib’s army of 185,000 soldiers or in Acts 12 when an angel hit Peter to wake him up, or the angels who told Lot they were going to destroy Sodom themselves). We are told Christ in human form was “a little lower than the angels.” Fallen angels, even evil ones, are referred to as “sons of God”, “principalities”, “powers” and “princes” among other dignified titles. The evil angel who fought with the archangel Michael in Daniel 10 is called the “Prince of Persia.” We are also told not to make accusations against angels because they are of a higher stature and rank than us:
The Archangel Michael could not rebuke Satan directly but had to ask the Lord Almighty to.
2 Peter 2, which is a parallel chapter to Jude, explains the same idea:
What this is saying once again is that even holy angels have respect for their evil counterparts who are of higher rank.
Demons do not receive similar respect. They are called “unclean”, “wicked” and “evil.” And they do not have bodies. In the Old Testament they are called “sprits” or “familiar spirits.” Deuteronomy 18 warns about wizards or those who consult with “familiar spirits” which refers literally to the “spirit of the dead.” This is a completely different Hebrew term than the term used for “angel” in the Old Testament. The Sanhedrin in the New Testament understood this distinction and even reference it:
” And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees’ part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.” — Acts 23:9.
Additionally, Jesus gave the disciples powers to “cast out” demons who possessed people. The disciples could address them directly and rebuke them. We never see a demon touch anyone on their own. They never eat on their own. They do everything, through a body of someone or some thing else (i.e., pigs). Jesus explained that demons dwell in abandoned wildernesses (“dry places”) until they can find another body to live in (see Matthew 12).
So, in conclusion, a demon would not mate with a woman. A demon is a spirit and has no body. An angel has a body and is able to mate. And only the evil angels at Genesis 6 mated with women. That is it. There is no other instance recorded in Scripture.
2. Nephilim DNA making it through the flood.
God did not contradict himself. The angels who sinned with women were punished by being imprisoned in the abyss (where they remain today). Their Nephilim children were all killed in the flood. All the beings who sinned were punished. Justice was served. No contradiction. Just because humans chose to keep the door open to more giants in the future does not mean God “contradicted.” We are all responsible for our own decision. If a born again believer sins, has God contradicted Himself? The person is going to Heaven, so why would God ever let them sin?? Because it’s a part of our refinement and freedom. We are still responsible for our behavior. I don’t know how much clearer to say it. I’m sorry if it’s not making sense. God bless.
I said contradicted in the loosest of terms, I.was not saying God contradicted himself. So you say demons have no body. I’ve heard reliable stories of them physically poking people in places of haunting. Poltergiests can move objects at will. These are evil.spirits. Also we are told in the bible that demons are fallen angels. So that says to me they are same as angels. But evil. Also the term spirits next to angels I have interpreted to mean a distinguishing bet the fallen and good angels, not implying a physical difference. That’s translation for you. I also think as angels visited earth they were given corporeal bodies to.interact with man. Also.I know in.whatever format Satan has plans for a seed. I.was not discounting that at all. I just felt that God felt so passionate about the nephilim to.of done what he did only for him to allow a small bit of DNA from.nephilim to.get through a bit puzzling. Therefore a contradiction. That’s not saying God has contradicted himself. There is a reason that isn’t clear and therefore I understand in part. As Paul put it. Also you can’t accuse every modern day giant of being a nephilim. There is a thyroid malfunction that alters a persons growth you know. Maybe Satan himself sowed some of his seed in whatever format to.pave the way for his ultimate vessel antichrist…. I said maybe.
I can’t really comment on personal stories about demons. I only base the ideas in the articles on the Bible. I don’t know any verses that say “demons are fallen angels.” What verse are you referring to??
I also don’t believe any Nephilim exist today. The last were killed during the age of the Israelite Kingdom. People who we see today who are “very tall”, whether by genetics or a physiological issue are just tall and not angelic/human hybrids.

John saw this great wonder in heaven, “…an enormous red dragon…His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth…the great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him” (Revelation 12:3-9).
Since Satan is referred to as a star which fell or was cast down to earth, and Revelation 12:4 says a third of the stars were cast out with him, then the conclusion is that the stars in Revelation 12 refer to fallen angels, fully one third of the heavenly host. If the one-third number is in fact accurate, what assurance that is! Two thirds of the angels are still on God’s side, and for followers of Christ, they are on our side as well. So in that respect I draw my conclusions from. So where do you get the idea demons and angels are different? The only difference I.see is the demons are evil angels. Because of their rebellion they are called something different, same as Satan who was once called Lucifer, Ezekiel says his appearance changed because of his rebellion, wether that was metaphoric I don’t know. We can agree to dissagree on the basis I am sceptical on the nephilim getting past the flood through Noah’s son’s wives.

But yes, 1/3 of the angels did rebel with Satan.
As for angels and demons, you said that the Bible says that demons are fallen angels but have not provided the Scripture. I have already listed the Scriptures that show the many different attributes of demons in comparison to angels. They are not the same being.

I think the revelation scripture is the one they were focusing on to.prove they did rebel. Now on the topic of angels and demons In Ezekiel it says about Satan’s fall, it also described his appearance after, now wether that was metaphorical or not I do not know, but let’s say it us, that would explain why angels and demons are different. They are still fallen angels, demons were not created just because God needed evil . God does not create evil, Satan instigated it, and angels followed. So there we have it, thats how demons came about. As for answers in genesis the article doesn’t take a particular stand true but it raises some very interesting points. I still can’t believe an evil angel or demon can reproduce. That is what I.find befuddeling. Only God can create things into.being supernaturally, like humans, the earth etc. And only.humans and animals can procreate. That is easier to.comprehend.

Jesus is talking about that in our resurrection bodies we can’t have sex because we’re immortal, there is no procreation or reproduction issue. Jesus was talking about angels (in heaven) but what about technologies avail to angel who falls? That’s what we’re dealing with. Now there’s a strange word that gets overlooked by scholars. “Habitation” (oiketerion): referring to the body as a dwelling place for the spirit. It only occurs TWICE in scripture, and interesting where it does:
Jude 6 from which the angels had “disrobed” and 2 Cor 5:2: alluding to the heavenly body with which the the believer longs to be “clothed.” Jude 6 describes what the fallen angels “disrobed” from and 2 cor alludes to heavenly body me and aspire to be “clothed” in.

That word habitation or oiketerion, they disrobed from their heavenly bodies to indulge in this mischief in Genesis 6. So that which the fallen angels abandoned is what we aspire to have in heaven. I’ve also read and listened to scholars referring to demons as being the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim that were all taken out by the flood since they were the “walking dead.” They had no soul, like that of God created humans, to be resurrected. I’m trying to understand the concept of fallen angels being different from demons, from what I understand from the scriptures they are the same. Demon is just another way of putting it. So unless it is absolutely proven from theories that demons are spirits of nephilim I can only count the idea as that, theory. There are many theories out there that people are so.keen to.advocate as fact, rather than just say it is A theory. Now on a side note I’m not feeling too great about next year…. As Christian and an aspiring sci-fi fantasy writer I must say this post disturbs me. I merely write fiction for entertainment and to be honest, I am a fan of this show being that it’s a modern revamp of the classic fairy tale… now I’m so confused but you know what. Fiction is just that, fiction I will try not to get so wrapped up and mind boggled over this. oh and I would love to see an expose on the Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings that would be so thrilling to read SIR :-I
The problem I have with the mindset of Evangelical Christians such as these is that they all assume that everyone does,or at least everyone must march to,the same drumbeat,follow the same path,without deviation,agree without question or examination. March in total lockstep with one another. They never take into account the possibility that everyone is different,with different needs,different desires,even as,as a wise (fictional) woman once put it, “the sames go right down to the core.” Hell(sorry,but not that sorry),even Evangelicals don’t always agree with one another on Scripture
There is no room for imagination or fantasy or whimsy in the Evangelical mind. No possibility that some Nephilim disagreeing with their celestial forefathers,or that angels might actually be capable of falling in love with mortal women. Neverland is a creation of the devil. And forget about the possibility of life on other worlds,nope,sorry,not in God’s Plan. It’s precisely this kind of close-minded mentality that turned me off Christianity in the first place. It reeks of….tyranny.
You could write a fine piece of sci-fi or fantasy,firmly grounded in the Bible and Christian teaching,but the slightest hint of deviation from what Evangelicals consider to be the norm,and it’ll likely be torn asunder in blogs like this. But it shouldn’t dissuade you from the path you’re on.

I understand how you feel. Fiction to me is just that fiction, i know vampires and werewolves arent real and sites such as dlthis one does raise a lot of questions. Also given the fact that this show and Once Upon A Time are taken classic fairytales which were actually dark and revamping them for a new generation is not surprising. Majority of stories that has a message always gets revamp to pass that message along. The purpose of the story beauty and the beast is the message that beauty is found within and not ones appearence. The message one can recieve from snow white is about vanity. The queen is obessesd with it that it leads to her down fall
No where in the revelations does it mention the word Antichrist. Not no where in revelations, but it does speak of many Antichrist existing in the past in the bible. Anyone who rejects the Father and the son is considered Antichrist. You have revelation chp 17:18 as that woman which you saw is that great city, which reign over the kings of the earth. Woman being referred to as a city. You can consider the Pope as Antichrist claiming to be GOD on earth and worshipping Mary.

As for there being “small a” antichrists, this is also clarified in Scripture:

Okay let’s examine these words closely.
1JOHN 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrist; whereby we know that it is the last time.
Now to me this scripture says, that antichrist may come and “a” antichrist is not mentioned, but many is mentioned. John says, even in his time many antichrist was around and more is coming, but this will be the last time.
1JOHN 2:19 explains further; “They” went out from us, but “they” were not of us: for if “they” had been of us, “they” would no doubt have continued with us: but “they” went out, that “they” might be made “manifest” that they were not all of us.
Now we have the word they which refers to many and manifest which refers to revealed.
Now 2 THESSALONIANS 2:3-4, you say seems to refer to the antichrist, but the word “seems” is not making a surety that the scripture refers to a one antichrist.
I heard the falling away happened back with the isrealites, also known as jacob. As the bible speaks of GOD redeeming his people. ROMANS 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. Roman’s 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn ungodliness from Jacob: The mystery of sin do already work, in which it has been ruling, for quite some time now.
Now he could be related to the many because if you believe in the same thing….you are really one. Verse 4 of chp 2 verse 4 says he oppose and praise himself above all that is called God; so that he as God sit in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

The picture of Jesus Christ that was made in the image of Cesar Borgia and this image has spread abroad to be worshipped. No one knew how Jesus looked from way back and if you make a image of how he looks, then I guess you would expect that image. Even the depiction of angels and the heavens is not suppose to have images made on them.
The tele-vision is a false prophesying type of visionary machine that implants things into the mind. It tells a vision. It shows power, gives you signs and produces wonders. Satan is ruling now and his job is to tempt and decieve.
God was the only one I read about in the bible who had real power and he was called the devil by nonbelievers.
