Preacher’s Daughters Season 3: Children of Blasphemy

April 4, 2015 By Beginning and End

Preachers Daughters Abomination | Apostate Pastors in end time prophecy.

“O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all rigtheousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?” – Acts 13:10.

Continuing its tradition of disgracing the name of Jesus Christ and the Christian faith, the Lifetime Television network has found yet another group of apostate pastors willing to put their children on the Preachers’ Daughters Television show. As was the case for the prior 2 seasons, this program, while claiming to be about the challenges young Christians face, is instead is a platform for a group of young girls to promote drinking, drugs and fornication. All in the name of TV ratings and potential reality television high salaries.

The first 2 seasons of Preachers’ Daughters followed a group of young women who are daughters to pastors in their various hometowns across the United States. With each season, the producers of the show have sought to increase the debauchery while removing any girls who show any remote interest in genuinely following or promoting the Christian faith and Biblical living. Additionally, scenes of the fathers actually preaching in their home churches, have been omitted. To no surprise, Season 3 has been the raunchiest season to date. This year, the show has put all of the young ladies in the same house, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (where the legal drinking age is conveniently 18 years old – all the daughters this year are between 18 – 24 years), a Spring Break and party hotspot for “missionary work.” In very brief snippets, the women are shown working for a pastor in a church in a small Mexican town. In reality the location opened the door for much more alcohol consumption, fighting and fornication.

A trailer for the show is below:

Beginning and End previously wrote articles covering seasons 1 and 2 of this show. And in each article the same questions was posed: how can any self-respecting pastor allow his daughter to participate in a show like this? On Preachers’ Daughters the whole goal is to place young women in areas of sinful temptation, only to watch them act in brazen rebellion against God on camera. Yes, some Christian teenagers are going to party or succumb to the temptations of sinful worldly behavior. That is not for debate and it is up to the parents of those teenagers to shepherd them through their walk with Christ. But that is completely different from agreeing to have your child placed in a foreign city that is a hard-partying locale and plied with alcohol while surrounded by a camera crew.

Christian review of Preachers Daughers | End time Bible Prophecy Falling away

[A Pastor must] One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; – 1 Timothy 3:4.

Reality TV has one goal: titillation and ratings. The more shocking and outrageous a show is, the better chance that it will bring in ratings, commercial success and reach the next season where the bigger salaries are paid. Thus the entire goal of the show is for the “good Christian girls” to commit as much sinful behavior as possible.

Each day the girls head to the “mission field” to perform some type of manual labor (on one episode they painted a wall). Once the task is done they return to their villa to get ready to party it up at the local night clubs. With no qualms, the scantily clad girls consume shots, cocktails and hunt for young men. Male strippers are paid to come to their house and grind on them. As with previous seasons, the one or two “good girls” in the group eventually succumb to the nightly excess and start to join in the sinful fun.

Lies And Slander

Preachers Daughters blasphemy and apostasy | Sinful fake pastors

Reality TV has made gossip normal and expected behavior for young women.

These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. – Proverbs 6:16-19.

Scripture repeatedly emphasizes the importance of glorifying God in one’s every day speech. Gossip is a serious in the Bible and a person who talks about others to cause problems in a group is listed among the things that God specifically hates. More than any other force in the world, Reality television has been the biggest influence in modern pop culture to encourage people to gossip. Cast members in the dozens of reality shows on air are given “face to the camera” scenes in which they are given free reign to share their “private thoughts” about other cast members, normally resulting in a slander session in which the speaker expresses all of their hatred for the other people in the house. Here are some examples of what the Bible says about “whisperers” and “talebearers” – those who gossip:

A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends. – Proverbs 16:28.

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion [is] vain. – James 1:26.

Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. – Psalm 34:13.

A fool’s lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes. A fool’s mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul. The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. – Proverbs 18:6-8.

End time apostasy | Should Christians watch Preachers Daughters?

The girls spend most of their times scheming against one another.

Christians are to be on guard against these types of sins. Yet Preachers’ Daughters breaks these commands repeatedly as there are endless scenes of gossip, lying and backstabbing of one another. Additionally, the show features numerous “private” conversations among the factions of girls in the house where they talk about who they cannot stand, attributes of a person they do not like (“he’s ugly”, “she’s fake”, “we need to make her leave…”, etc.), all done with an emphasis on profanity. The pastor’s daughters repeatedly refer to each other with the “b-word” and curse non-stop on camera, showing no shame or embarrassment for their filthy language.

Jesus Christ said:

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. – Matthew 12:34-37.

Christian review of Preachers Daughters | End times apostasy

Profanity-laced shouting matches are a regular occurrence.

If a person’s heart is full of profanity, that is what will come out of their mouths. Do these pastors’ daughters seem like they are spending any significant amount of time studying their Bible, being taught sound Biblical doctrine or in prayer? Would they be so comfortable cursing up a storm on national television? This is what The Lord Jesus Christ explains in the above passage. Ephesians 4:29 says: “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”

Once again, this is not an attempt to say Christians never say bad words or never gossip about others. The point is that a true, Bible-believing born again Christian will be well aware that their actions were sin and of their guilt and shame before God. A born again Christian has a heart to serve and please The Lord and violating Biblical commands will lead to that person seeking forgiveness. There are no scenes of any of these women on their knees in prayer pleading with God for forgiveness of their sins. This is directly in line with the apostasy as many of the pseudo-Christian churches of today put no emphasis on sin, the condemnation of all people for their sins and the absolute need for forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ.

With no emphasis on sin, Christianity can be rebranded as “helping you find your purpose” or “teaching you that you are so special and God loves everything about you (including your sinful behavior)” or “God is here to help you be rich, famous and beautiful.” Jesus Christ came to earth and gave His life on the cross as a sacrifice so that we could avoid hell and the Lake of Fire for the thousands of sins we all (this author included) have willingly committed. This is the Biblical Gospel. But when churches de-emphasize our guilt before God, it leads to Christians who feel no shame in cursing, slander, blasphemy and all sorts of foul language. And to no surprise, the Preachers’ Daughters often find their filthy conversations leading to fornication.

Using God’s Name In Vain

Should Christians watch Preachers Daughters? | false and fake Christians on reality TV

Even Lifetime’s own Facebook page mocked the “faith” of these young women.

In one episode, the girls are tasked with fundraising for an impoverished community. In order to earn some cash, a number of the girls opt to run a “kissing booth” offering random men at the beach bars kisses in exchange for money. They also take a job in a night club working as “shot girls” – selling alcoholic drinks for tip money (with a rule that no one gets drunk until they made enough money for the children). And a number of them choose to enter a “twerk” contest in which they dress in a bikini and dance in overtly sexual fashion for a drunken crowd. These young ladies are literally “playing the harlot” supposedly for the Christian faith. This is taking the name of God in vain. Thinking that behaving in this manner and disgracing the name of God in brazen sin can somehow bring God glory or that the money earned from an x-rated dance competition is serving The Lord is pure heresy. Galatians chapter 5 says:

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. – Galatians 5:19-21.

Christian review of Preachers Daughters | Should Christians watch reality TV?

One of the ladies orders male strippers for the house.

Notice that the first sins listed all pertain to sexual immorality. And that is precisely what this show focuses on – getting the daughters as intoxicated as possible with the hopes they will find their way into sinful sexual situations. For a pastor to allow himself, his church and family to be associated with such a satanic, blasphemous show is a sad sign of the apostasy, the prophesied end times falling away of much of the Christian church from following sound Biblical doctrine in favor of watered down, false Christianity that elevates man, puts no focus on sin and denies the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Promotion of Homosexuality

End time Bible prophecy | Falling away in the church

The openly gay daughter gives a lap dance while her fellow “Christians” cheer.

Season 3 features a scene where a one girl gets in bed to make a sexual advance on another. Both women proclaim to their fellow Preachers Daughters that they are bisexual or homosexual. In the discussion regarding sexuality all of the girls except one take the position that homosexuality is not a sin. One girl questions on screen if Biblical authors made “a typo” when writing that a man should be with a woman. Once again the notion that all people have sinful natures, are guilty before God and need forgiveness, is never mentioned.

In the scene below, notice how the girls (with one exception) are all in agreement with the modern day, apostate view of homosexuality:

Like their false Gospel preaching fathers, these daughters are of the view that homosexuality is not a sin and God has no issue with sexual sin. And the one girl who actually takes a stand for Biblical truth is cast as the “mean girl” and villain. The Bible clearly states that God does indeed have a major issue with any kind of fornication:

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. – Romans 1:24-27.

The Bible calls lesbian fornication “against nature” and a “vile affection.” And it declares that homosexuality is just one product of the sin nature that all people are born with. Yet on Preachers’ Daughters Jayde Gomez, daughter of Chris Clark, former worship pastor at Eastside Baptist Church in Lakeland Florida, says she “doesn’t know” where that idea came from and that “you’re not gonna go to hell for that.” Jayde is promoted on the show as the “good Christian” who actually takes her faith seriously and yet is not aware that homosexuality is a sin in Scripture. Another daughter attacks the Bible – questioning if it had “typos” when forbidding a man from marrying another man. This is precisely the message many apostate pastors are preaching every Sunday and just what the Bible prophesied would be taking place in the final days before the end times:

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. – 2 Timothy 4:3-4.

Is it bad to watch Preachers Daughers | Apostate fake pastors and their children

The pastor leading the Cabo mission says God is using these girls for his glory?

Despite the ridiculous, blasphemous behavior, Tito Lopez, the leader of the mission in Cabo San Lucas praised the producers of the show and said God was working through the young ladies.

“I just praise God for them,” Lopez said to the Christian Post. “I pray that we as Christian people pray for them because they’re getting the Gospel out there whether or not the church believes it or whether or not they choose to believe it.”

So even if the ladies of Preachers’ Daughters do not even believe the Gospel they are still succeeding in getting it “out there”? This pastor should be rebuking the show for the mockery it makes of the Christian faith but instead is along for the ride to potential riches.

Pray For These Young Ladies

Christian Review of Preachers Daughers | End times deception of false Christianity

The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left [to himself] bringeth his mother to shame. – Proverbs 29:15.

But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? – Ezekiel 18:21-23.

Pray for these daughters on this show to repent of the wickedness and blasphemy that is displayed every week on Preachers Daughters. While the unsaved world takes great pleasure in mocking God, the Bible and Biblical Christianity, the Lord takes no joy in watching wicked, rebellious sinners dies in their sin and go to Hell. The Lord is longsuffering to all people and wants humanity to repent and seek Him for forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible says:

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. – 1 John 1:8-9.

Through Jesus Christ, a person can indeed receive free forgiveness of their sin and a new spirit that helps a person in the constant battle everyone faces against sinful temptation. If you are a Christian who watches this show, pray to God for better understanding of the Bible. A show that is so dishonoring to The Lord should not be viewed as “entertainment.” And if you are not a Christian, understand that this show has absolutely nothing to do with true Christianity. Helping the poor and painting a wall will not get a person into Heaven. If one thing is missing from this show’s “mission trip” it is the Gospel. The true purpose of missionary work is to preach God’s message of good news that all sinners can be forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ. It is only belief in the Gospel and faith in Jesus Christ that saves a person. And before these daughters can do that they have to learn it and believe it themselves.

Interesting that you’re so quick to judge the preachers. These women are 18 through 24 and are free to do what they please. It’s really not the dad’s choice anymore if they decide to go on a trashy tv show. They could ask them not to, but it’s not up to them in the end. God forbid people ever criticize you and say you’re fake if your child does something you disagree with.

Love all of these comments about the gay agenda being shoved down their throats. Yes, gay people existing and having human struggles is “cramming it down your throat.” And you wonder why people think you’re full of hate and contempt, not love. Thanks for this blog… It’s fun to watch you squirm and freak out about pop culture.

    March 20, 2016 at 5:10 pm

Some years ago I met a pastor through his landlord who had been a colleague. The pastor was setting up a small cyber business. Not far from that location, the pastor had started a rather nice restaurant. I was informed that he had a church where he preached and had a biggish following. But, from the start I had a big, firm nag that there was something very wrong with this very amiable, helpful and enterprising man of God. One evening, a sister-in-Christ that I knew and who had found a waitress’s job at the restaurant, asked for my counsel: the staff were now working much later into the night. Their boss had suddenly bought this huge, pitch black 4×4 giant vehicle, new, which only moved at night. Also, certain women were now arriving at the restaurant just before closing time. They were next to naked in their dress, with gold chains, heavy make-up and foul language. The pastor would drive off with them after closing the business. I told my sister that that was not a pastor but a criminal and to get out at once. She needed the money, so she stayed, promising that she would consider what I had suggested.

I left the neighborhood to live elsewhere. Two years later we met, the sister and I. We talked a bit and she told me she had got married and I was happy for her. As we were parting, she seemed to remember something. Then she said,
“Er, you remember my former boss, yes?” I said I did. She hesitated, then said, ” Well, not too long ago, there was a gang of criminals who had gone to rob the abc bank in the center of Nairobi.” I said I had read about it. “Well,” she continued, “you know all the gangsters were ripped apart by police bullets.” She paused, and I knew that she would say the gang had some connection with the pastor.
“Friend, one of the dead gangsters, an AK 47 still in the grip of his dead hand, was – the ‘pastor’ himself”.

Reading about Preachers’ Daughters, above, reminded me of this account. And it makes me very sad, that, unsaved people, on the strength of their ‘confessions’ to be ‘Christians’, are actually being dealt with, here, as if they WERE children of God but with some wild shortcomings. But it is clear that these are not saved, and the chances are that, their fathers (and mothers?) are not children of God. These are unsaved people, and they are doing what comes naturally to the people of the world. It is interesting that not even one of their preacher-parent is reported as having tried to take steps to deal with them, or the church concerned. Apostle Paul says a servant of God MUST be able to rein in his house before he can presume to serve God. A saved person, even a day old in salvation, KNOWS without a doubt what sin is! It is why the majority of us quit booze, cigarettes, the parties, vulgarity etc the same day we were saved. God will leave some stuff in our lives un-dealt with which he will use to draw us nearer, and which will keep us humbled to ask and to need his help, as well as build in us a character of dependence on the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:29). Till we go Home, we are never perfect. But it is not normal for a child of God (and here I am talking of the preacher parents) to be passive, much less, purposely be a part of the strip-tease debouchery and homosexuality (etc), or not take a stand on it, whether his is an unsaved or saved daughter/son. And a publicly, shamelessly sinning child of God is to be thrown out of church, after due course of being dealt with, to be tormented by Satan back to sanity.

I gave the above account to illustrate the virtually certain position that these are not pastors: they are no different from the gangster pastor, above. It saddens me that photos of unsaved women who do not know Christ Jesus are paraded for the unbelieving world, to get their blood rush from, and say, “See? THAT is why I do not believe in God or Christ – if His ‘saints’ can sin so freely, worse than us, and still go to heaven, why should I be saved?”

In another post where you deal with Christians struggling with sexual sin, one has no problem perceiving that these are genuine saints who hate the very sin that they commit, and it is never public. They hurt and even wish they would die, to escape the mammoth guilt and the difficulty involved in overcoming. But – they all LOVE God, and hate sin. But not so these preacher parents and their daughters. These are Christ haters on an assignment to re-paint the church and present the people of God, and therefore, the Lord Himself, as one big con joke. Their preacher fathers are not even fake preachers who once knew the Lord. These are reprobate men and women who belong to other persuasions, but who use their natural charisma to make money and have fun. We have numerous such in Kenya – guys who wake up one morning, broke, and decide – “Christians especially, and the world, are the easiest people to fool and make easy money from. I’ll start a church and just keep on ‘jesus-ing everything.’ We now have ‘anointed’ breast-sucking criminals who are raking in millions from equally unsaved women. The truth is:

There are very few children of God on earth right this very moment. Let us discern. The world is all over the place calling itself “christian”. The girls, and their parents, need salvation. Until then, they are not of us, and it is not our fault that they are not saved.

You know what I’d like to know more about? Jesus Christ:The Awkward Teenage Years.

No,seriously, there’s not a person in all Creation that hasn’t gone through that defining period between 12-24 that helps to define who you are and what kind of person you will be for the rest of your life. Yet the Bible considers that portion of Christ’s life to be irrelevant to His followers. And maybe it is to Bible-believing Christians, but I’m not inclined to place my trust in anyone who hasn’t gone through that awkward, painful transition from child to adulthood-the changes in the body as hormones run rampant, the rebellious phase as one seeks to become more independent of their parents, even as in some ways, the poor souls are now more dependent on them than ever to help them navigate those treacherous straits of transition, the temptations, not of the flesh, but of the limitless potential of the paths of the future laid out before Him and perhaps most tellingly, the sudden shock, the stratospheric highs and crushing lows of first love and first heartbreak.

Surely I can’t be the only one who wonders about the struggles young Jesus went through as he endured the ultimate Trial of the Flesh, after which Forty days and nights being tempted by Satan would seem like a walk in the Park….or the Garden,as the case may be….
