Sweet Jesus? – Ice Cream Company Promotes Satanic Antichrist Imagery

The Sweet Jesus ice cream chain has become a huge success and credits its satanic branding.

A Canadian high-priced ice cream chain has built its entire marketing campaign and brand around blasphemy of The Lord Jesus Christ and The Christian faith in general. Dubbed Sweet Jesus, the super successful ice cream brand brazenly uses blasphemy, satanic symbols and occult imagery to sell its products. And it will soon be launching in the United States.

The disturbing marketing of Sweet Jesus ice cream blatantly mocks the Christian faith.

With seven locations opened in a little over 2 years, Sweet Jesus has been a massive success in Canada where it sells its soft serve ice cream starting at $6 a cone. According to their own Development Director the satanic marketing has been key to their huge profits:

“I think it’s successful for a number of reasons. The branding is absolutely on point. Everything from the name, the design package, the colour,” says Jeff Young, chief development officer of Monarchs & Misfits, the parent company of Sweet Jesus. (source).

The company uses blatantly satanic imagery to market itself. Here are 2 of their storefront signs:

The lightning bolt has long been associated with Satan. In the Bible The Lord Jesus Christ was in a discussion with His disciples who were amazed at their divinely bestowed power to cast out demons. In response Jesus said: “…I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” (Luke 10:18). Since that time, the occult has used the symbol as a representation of the Devil.

The upside-down (or inverted) cross is a mockery of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and a pledge of allegiance to Satan. Some will say that this symbol has no satanic connotation, but the entertainment industry does not agree. Beginning And End recently profiled satanic rapper L’il Uzi Vert (whose name is a subtle reference to Lucifer) and his inverted cross jewelry:

Pop star Rihanna, who has used satanic and occult imagery in many of her videos, wearing a shirt with an image of an inverted cross:

Marilyn Manson, an openly satanic, anti-Christian rock singer, regularly uses both symbols:

Tyler The Creator, of the Odd Future Rap Group, also uses blasphemous imagery and lyrics in his music and videos. His debut album Goblin put the satanic upside down cross front and center:

Mocking the Bible – Blasphemy Against God’s Name

In addition to the symbolism, Sweet Jesus also uses their ads to mock Bible verses and basic principles of the Christian faith:

The Bible is clear that the misuse of God’s name (i.e., as a curse word, in an irreverent manner, etc.) is a sin:

“Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.” – Exodus 20:7.

Webster’s 1828 dictionary defines blasphemy as: “An indignity offered to God in words, writing, or signs; impiously irreverent words or signs addressed to, or used in reference to, God; speaking evil of God; also, the act of claiming the attributes or prerogatives of deity.” The Sweet Jesus branding certainly qualifies.

The Last Supper is a commonly used name for the final Passover feast Jesus Christ ate with His disciples before dying on the cross. It was at this meal that Jesus established the New Covenant – namely that in His death and resurrection all who believe in Him could be forgiven for their sins:

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” – Matthew 26:26-28.

1 Corinthians 13 is a beautiful chapter on charity – or the Godly love that all believers should aspire to:

“And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” – 1 Corinthians 13:3-7.

This passage is often read at wedding ceremonies (with the word “love” for charity -as modern versions record it). Sweet Jesus ridicules this passage with a poster also filled with disturbing subliminal sexualized imagery.

The Antichrist – The Great Blasphemy Of The End Times

Many fans clamor to take pictures in front of Sweet Jesus’ street signs.

As society moves farther from God, Biblical Christianity and the church, blasphemy of this kind in advertising, pop culture or entertainment is not only acceptable but encouraged and enjoyed. This is all key to the preparation for the blasphemy the Bible prophesies will take place in the end times by the Antichrist. This satanically-empowered false Messiah (who will rule over Earth for 3 ½ years before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ) will make it a point to speak blasphemy against God and Christianity:

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.” – Revelation 13:4-6.

The Antichrist will repeatedly insult and degrade The Lord, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. He will speak out against the angels and saved Christians who are in Heaven. And yet, this is someone who the Bible prophesies the world will want to worship and be amazed by. The Antichrist will be someone desired by society.

Thus, the stage will have to be set where blasphemy against God is completely acceptable and normal. And when he has reached his full power, he will reveal his true colors and falsely declare that he is god: “Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2).

In the occult, this is well-known. The New Age book, The Aquarian Conspiracy, outlines that those in the Luciferian occult circles are awaiting their “christ” to return and lead them. But for this to happen there must first be a “paradigm shift” in society. By changing cultural values was “preparing the way for the reappearance of the World Teacher—the Christed (Anointed) One, the true Aquarian.” Cutting Edge Ministries detailed the goal as follows:

“One of the most common recurring themes throughout the writings of the New Age is that a massive, population-wide change in spiritual and mental attitudes was absolutely essential before Maitreya the Christ could arise and lead the world into the New World Order. The guiding spirits of these New Age authors were absolutely insistent that such a shift would occur some time toward the end of this century. Once such a shift in deeply-held attitudes had been effected, Maitreya could then arise. Of course, America was specially targeted because of her traditional Judeo-Christian values base.

This dramatic change in attitudes was given a special name: Paradigm Shift. The most succinct definition of this strange term is given by the official New Age Dictionary. Paradigm Shift is defined as a “spiritual or mental axis-shift; a change in perception or world view”. Paradigm itself is defined as “a set of deep concerns…dogmas and assumptions…” In other words, Paradigm refers to those deeply held religious beliefs by which a person lives their life.

So the guiding spirits are predicting that, towards the end of this century, people’s deeply-held religious attitudes and beliefs would undergo a fundamental and dramatic shift; with this religious shift, attitudes on other subjects within a person’s life would also change. A good example of this type change which would accompany the fundamental religious value change would be a person’s outlook on political issues or on ethical issues within the community, such as abortion or euthanasia.” (source)

Alice Bailey, one of the founders of the modern New Age movement, an avowed Luciferian, wrote in her book the Externalization of the Hierarchy, that the shift should be focused on children. Bailey, who channeled a spirit called “Master D.K.” to writer her books said that: ”If the vast majority of children of only two or three generations can be trained according to different values, the nation itself will change very rapidly.”

As stated Bailey, the founder of Lucifer Publishing, was openly preaching for Satan and although she was writing in the 1930s correctly predicted the corruption of values that would take place at the turn of the century and its necessity to prepare for the New Age False Christ. Pop Culture has now joined in completely by mocking God, embracing immorality and promoting satanic ideas. Do not be deceived.

Pray For Discernment

As Sweet Jesus sets to expand into the Mall of America and many other nations, pray for spiritual discernment in the hearts and minds of society to reject a brand that so brazenly mocks and blasphemes Christianity. Pray for the same outcry and indignation there would be if a food brand mocked Islam or the transgender movement. And most importantly pray for repentance in the hearts of those that created this satanic branding.

There is a great deal of hatred and indifference towards Christianity today but all it takes is the light of the message of the Gospel – that all people – including those who mock Jesus Christ – can be freely forgiven of their sins thanks to the cross that Jesus Christ did indeed bear for all people. When Jesus was nailed to that cross – taking the wrath of God for the sins of the world, the soldiers and people mocked Him. And His response was short yet so profound: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34). Pray that more people in society will humble themselves, acknowledge God and receive that forgiveness.
