In yet another example of society being groomed for total tracking of all of their commercial activity, the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team is now doing a special promotion where season ticket holders will receive replica jerseys that are tagged with RFID microchips. By holding out the small microchip embedded in the sleeve fans can get scanned and receive a 25% discount on food and concessions and a 35% discount on all merchandise bought in the arena. As good as it is for season ticket holders, other fans may be disappointed that they have missed out on getting a jersey and making the most of the discounts it has to offer. Fans can still show their loyalty to the team by having a look at these Custom Drawstring Bags that can have the team logo on. The replica jerseys are a great way for fans to enjoy the games more at a cheaper price. As the news reports state:
“This year, the Tampa Bay Lightning introduced a replica team jersey equipped with a radio frequency chip embedded in the sleeve that fans can scan at stadium stores to receive discounts on refreshments and team merchandise for all season ticket holders. The promotion has worked — it helped spur a nearly twofold increase in season ticket sales this year…. Each chip also has a unique ID, allowing the team to track who buys what, which Lott [Brad Lott, the team’s executive vice president of service and operations] says will allow the team to analyze the most effective future deals and promotions. And Lott says there are many more bonuses to come.”
The reaction of fans to this innovation has been overwhelmingly positive. And this again serves as an example that the technology to achieve the Mark of the Beast (more detail on the Mark, what it means and the Scripture behind it can be found here) as described in the Book of Revelation is now available in society:
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” — Revelation 6:16-17.
The Mark will represent the economic systems of the end times Great Tribulation. The money possessed, spent and transferred by each individual will be controlled just by a “mark” in the right hand or forehead. It will obviously require that the finances of every person be identified and stores and tracked in order to allow for proper buying and selling. Just as the microchipped jerseys are capable of doing. This is not saying that the team’s microchip or any microchip program is the actual Mark. The point is that unlike in any prior generation in human history, the technology to achieve a system where all the buying and selling of every individual on the planet would be controlled by a mark in their hands or foreheads, was not even possible until the last decade. When the Apostle John wrote the book of Revelation (experts estimate at some point between 65-96 AD), such a system would have been absolutely impossible to implement. But in this age of wireless technology, this is not only feasible to some it’s inevitable:
“We’re already hoping to roll out stored value, where fans who don’t want to bring cash to the game can just pay for things using the chip. We’re hoping to roll out a new feature each year.”
The other important thing to remember from Bible prophecy is that the government of the Antichrist and this economic system will be something that people want. It is not going to be forced onto society. The False Prophet, the cohort of the Antichrist “causes” the people of the world to take the mark. The word in Greek for cause denotes “preparing” or “making ready.” And this will be part of the greatest deception in human history. As the Bible states, most of the world at large will be deceived into not only wanting the Antichrist and his global government system, but eventually believe he is God:
“…and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?” — Revelation 6 The Apostle Paul wrote with regards to the Antichrist’s aspirations says he will be one: “Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:4. So pervasive will be the deception that most people in the world at that time will be willing to take the ultimate pledge of allegiance to the Beast and the False Prophet: the Mark. And by doing so they will have sealed their eternal fate.
If this is troubling, remember the blessed hope that is Jesus Christ. The book of Revelation is clear that after the short time that the Antichrist will rule over the government of the world, he will be defeated forever by Jesus Christ at the Second Coming. And all of those who believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior will receive eternal life and be a part of the Kingdom of God on Earth once Jesus returns. But for those who may find this to be too “far out” or hard to believe, again realize that this system was described 2,000 years ago. Like much of Bible prophecy it is coming to light right before our eyes with the advances of technology. A cashless world is not far away and certainly the capabilities already exist to provide it. And as companies, sports teams and celebrities start marketing and promoting innovations like the micro-chipped jersey, indeed, the world is being made ready for this type of technology and seems to be welcoming it with open arms.
Mystery Babylon paves the way for the beast to take over the world. Mystery Babylon rides the beast until the beast has no more use for her. The proof is in the pudding! America is perfecting the technology that will be used after Mystery Babylon is destroyed. Once the beast is done using Mystery Babylon he will discard her like a $2 hoe. And how fitting that is, being that God describes her as the “MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
The total nuclear destruction of America in 1 hour is the sudden destruction that comes upon the world when the day of the LORD breaks forth with fury and wrath! The hammer of the whole earth will be wiped out in an instant (Jeremiah 50:23). The most proud nation who thought she would never be defeated will be laid low in 1hour by the 10 kings! This day is fast approaching! Major signs are about to come to pass in regards to the fall of Babylon! God has given at least 3 signs about the coming doom of Babylon. The rumor sign (Jer. 51:46), the earthquake (Jer. 51:30-33), and the snare (Jer. 50:24).
That is why the apostle Paul could say in 1 Thessalonians 5 that those who know the truth are not in the dark so that the day of sudden destruction would overtake them as a thief in the night! God warned over and over and over and over again throughout the OT that His people needed to flee out of Babylon before she is destroyed! That call to flee is given in Jeremiah chapters 50 and 51in 9 different scriptures. The call is re-emphasized in the NT in Revelation 18:4:
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
God has emphasized the fall of Babylon for a reason! The longest single prophecy in the Bible is on the fall of Babylon, which is contained in Jeremiah 50 and 51! Two more chapters are given to the fall of Babylon in the Revelation 17-18! God has deliberately done this so that the wise virgins would understand the plan of God in the last days! The fall of Babylon is a MAJOR end time event! It’s HUMONGOUS in scope! The outline of the end-times is given in Revelation 14 and we see in that chapter before the 3rd angel message sounds which is the Mark of the Beast, the second angel tells us that Babylon has fell! The falling of Babylon comes before the mark is ever issued! That is why the 10 kings of Revelation 17 destroy her and then give their kingdoms to the beast! The only obstacle in the way of the beast is the last supper power on the earth and that is the United States of AMERICA!
“Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the last of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.” Jeremiah 50:12
England is going to watch in horror as America burns to the ground! The last of the super-powers will be made into a parched desert! It will forever be destroyed! Nobody will ever go by her! All those who see her demise must stand afar off for fear of her torment! The whole world will be in utter disbelief when the day of the LORD breaks forth with fury and wrath! It is a day of darkness and gloominess, the day of the trumpet and the alarm against the fenced cities! Those who thought they were high and mighty will lick the dust!
The signs are all around us my friend. While no man knows the day or the hour of the return of the LORD, we can know the times and the seasons like Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 5! The children of Issachar had understanding of the times and thus knew what Israel had to do (1 Chronicles 12:32)! The same is true for those who know the LORD in this day and hour! God said through the prophet Daniel that they who knew their God will be strong and do exploits! Those who are wise will have understanding about the end-times because God is unsealing His book for such a time as this!
